New Interface for Monitoring Water Claims Filed in General Adjudications

The Utah Division of Water Rights has just released a new webpage that acts as an interface to provide more transparency and information regarding ongoing general adjudications of water rights. The webpage allows users to check on individual water claims filed in the various ongoing adjudication areas. The webpage shows when Notices to File Claims were filed by the Division and the associated deadlines for filing claims. The webpage also shows when each claim was filed, when the Division performed a field review of the claim, and when the Division issued its State Engineer's Recommendation for the claim. This new tool will be very helpful in allowing water users to track the status of their water claims and ensure that claims are received and processed by the Division.
